Playfully Preparing for School

Playgroups provide a wonderful opportunity for families with young children to connect, support one another, and enjoy learning through play during the most influential years of a child’s development.

When a playgroup is located on a school site, children and families can become familiar with the environment and begin building positive relationships with staff. This gentle introduction helps children feel confident and comfortable as they prepare for school, benefiting both families and the school community.

At JSR, our family‑run playgroup for children aged 0–4 years operates every Friday during term time from 8.45 –10.30am. Through play‑based activities, children learn, explore and develop important social and early learning skills in a welcoming environment.

All Playgroup WA members are welcome to attend.
