Out of School Care

Extra support for our families

We understand that regular school hours don’t always align with work and family commitments. The Out of School Care (OSC) and Vacation Care programs at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School (JSR) provide a safe, engaging and supportive environment for children from Pre‑Kindergarten to Year 6, outside of standard school hours.

Our OSC program has a strong focus on supporting children’s wellbeing, development and sense of belonging. It extends and enriches your child's learning experiences beyond the classroom, while supporting the balance for working families.

Vacation Care

The school term may be over, but the fun is just beginning.

Based at the OSC building, the JSR Vacation Care program offers a fun, engaging and convenient option for families during the school holidays.

Designed for Pre‑Kindergarten to Year 6 students, the program provides a safe, supportive environment where children can enjoy a range of activities and excursions, while families benefit from reliable holiday care.

Vacation Care runs from 7.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday during school holidays, excluding public holidays.

How to Book

Parents must log into their Hub Account and use the BookMe function to request vacation care. Please read the guide for assistance.

The JSR OSC has a 70 student capacity, so should you use the service during school holidays, please book as soon as possible. Only online bookings will be accepted.
