Principal's welcome

Since opening in 1992, JSR has grown into a warm, vibrant learning community grounded in our Anglican tradition and guided by the School Virtues of Faith, Hope and Love and our Values of Faith, Inclusion, Respect and Excellence. We are committed to nurturing the whole child, intellectually, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually, so every student is supported to flourish.

Our academic program combines high expectations with personalised support. We strive for excellence in classroom learning while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and resilience. Complementing academic study is a broad co-curricular program designed to develop character and talents: sport, performing and visual arts, music, community service and outdoor education provide students with opportunities to lead, collaborate and grow.

Pastoral care is central to life at JSR. Through supportive teacher-student relationships, wellbeing initiatives and an inclusive community culture, we work to ensure every student feels known, valued and safe. Our community ethos encourages students to live out the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love, acting with compassion and integrity; and to treat others with respect, embrace diversity, and pursue their personal best.

We also value strong partnerships with families and the wider community. When staff, parents and students work together, learning is richer and outcomes stronger. Our aim is to prepare young people not only for academic success but for lives of meaningful contribution, leadership and service.

I invite you to explore our School, join our community and witness how JSR supports students in reaching their potential, serving others, and making a positive difference in the world.

Why JSR?

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Parents often comment that they are looking for a School that will support more than strong academic results. They want a place where their child will be known, supported and challenged to become the very best version of themselves.
