John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School is proud to share a close and meaningful relationship with St Paul’s Anglican Church, which gathers for worship in the beautiful St Paul’s Chapel every Sunday morning at the beautiful St Paul’s Chapel located on our school grounds.
Two services are held each week:
- 8:00am – Morning Service
- 9:30am – Sung Eucharist
All are warmly invited to attend, regardless of background, connection to the school, or prior church experience. The congregation is a diverse and inclusive community, welcoming those who have been Christians for many years, those new to faith, and those still exploring and asking questions. Everyone is encouraged to participate in a way that feels comfortable and respectful.
Services with a difference
During school terms, the St Paul’s Chapel Choir, made up of talented staff and students from JSR and trained by our Music Department, leads the music at the Sunday 9.30am service four times each term. Their contribution adds a rich and uplifting dimension to the worship experience.
At JSR, we are committed to providing opportunities for meaningful community engagement. These experiences help our students grow into compassionate, well-rounded individuals who live out their faith through service and connection. The values nurtured through involvement in our community remain relevant and impactful throughout life’s journey.

The Dinka (Sudanese) Community worships in St Paul’s Chapel each Sunday, led by The Revd. Timon Yanga.
